¼ C blanched almonds
¼ C sesame seeds
¼ C sunflower seeds
¼ C pumpkin seeds
1 T coriander seeds
1 T cumin seeds
1 T fennel seeds
1 T black peppercorns
1 T kosher salt

olive oil
crusty bread cut into chunks

Directions:

Combine nuts and spices.

Grind with a mortar and pestle until coarse and chunky. (You can also pulse lightly in a food processor but be careful not to reduce to a paste.

Dip bread in oil and then into mixture.

This spicy and nutty mixture was first tasted in the Australian outback as a snack.

Crusty bread is dipped in olive oil and then in the dukkah.
