stale sliced bread
salt and pepper
any seasonings are optional

Directions:
Take your stale bread and brush with the canna-fat you are using, brushing both sides completely, but don't soak the bread. sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper, and seasonings if used, on both sides. Cut the bread into cubes.

Spread the cubes out on a cookie sheet allowing at least 1 inch space between cubes for even toasting. Bake at 300 degrees till bread has become dry and toasted, 7-12 min. If you can, give them a flip halfway through baking. Keep an eye on them, they go from golden crouton to crispy garbage fodder fairly quickly.
