1 4-5 lb rump or chuck roast
3 c water
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp dried oregano
2 tsp dried basil
1 tsp onion powder
2 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp dried garlic powder
1 .7-oz pkg dry Italian-style salad dressing mix (such as Good Seasons)
Sandwich rolls

Directions:
Directions:
Sear roast in pan on stove top. Mix remaining ingredients in a saucepan on the stove, and bring to a boil. Place roast in slow cooker; pour dressing mixture over the meat. Cover; cook on low 10-12 hours or on high for 4-5 hours. When done shred with a fork and serve on a sandwich roll of your choice.
