1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 Anjou pears, peeled and cut into eighths
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
vanilla ice cream
Gingersnaps

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle lemon juice over pears. Melt sugar and butter in large nonstick skillet over med heat, stirring occasionally, 2 min. or until melted and smooth. Reduce heat to low; add pears, cook stirring often, 6-8 min. until tender. Whisk together cornstarch, 1 tsp. water. Stir into pear mix, and cook 1 min. until thickened. Remove from heat, and stir in vanilla extract. Serve with ice cream and gingersnaps.
