4 - 1 inch thick pork chops
Salt & Pepper
1/4 cup all purpose flour
3 Tbs. vegetable oil
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 cup chicken stock
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 Tbs. butter
1/4 tsp. dried thyme
1 bay leaf

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle pork chops with S&P; dredge in flour.
Brown chops in hot oil over medium heat, drain on paper towel.
Place in casserole dish and set aside
Stir onion and garlic into skillet with pan drippings, cook until tender.
Add wine & chicken stock; cook 3-5 minutes.
Saute mushrooms in the butter. Add thyme and bay leaf.
Pour wine sauce over chops, cover & bake 350º for 45 minutes or until tender.
Remove bay leaf before serving
