25ml Ginger syrup (Monins ginger syrup can be ordered from the internet very easily or else make your own, the recipe is found on the internet)
25ml good quality vodka
Juice of 1 lime (~20ml)

Directions:
Directions:
Pour over ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake well until you feel that liquid has cooled. Strain into a martini glass. Had a lime twist and off you go.

This is a wonderful cocktail at any time but I often serve it pre-dinner as the ginger really wakes up the taste buds and it gets the party started well.
