dumplings-
1 cup all purpose flour, 4 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 egg-beaten,1/2 cup milk,

1 Chicken,1 hard boiled egg grated.Salt and pepper to taste.

Directions:
Directions:
sift flour,powder and salt. mix egg with milk and add to flour. Stir together to mix. DO NOT OVER MIX. Use floured hands and put on floured surface. Sprinkle with flour and roll out very thin. Let them sit a hour or so before cutting into strips. While dumpling are resting cover chicken with water and salt and bring to boil. When chicken is tender remove from water and cut into chunks removing the bones. Add appx 1 cup of water to stock and bring to boil. drop dumpling strips into boiling stock a few at a time. when all have been added reduce heat and simmer until dumpling are done. Appx 20-30 minutes. When dumplings are tender replace boned chicken to pot and add 1/2 cup milk and 1 grated hard boiled egg.
