1 medium head cabbage, coarsely chopped
1 lb. hamburger
1 lb sausage
1 can mushroom soup
1 soup can milk
1/2 lb. American cheese or Velveeta cheese
1-2 tsp. black pepper
1 small can fried onions

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Put cabbage in pan, add 2 c. water. Cover and cook until tender crisp. Drain well. In large skillet, brown hamburger and sausage together and drain well. Put meat back into skillet, add mushroom soup, milk, black pepper and cheese. Heat until cheese is melted and creamy add drained cabbage. Pour into 9 x 13 inch greased baking dish. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until bubbly. Put fried onions on top and bake for 10 more minutes or until onions are brown. Remove from oven let stand about 10 minutes before serving.
