1/4 Pound of Salt Pork
1 Quart of Diced White Potatoes
1 Cup Diced Carrots
2 Medium Sweet Onions
1/2 Cup Diced Celery
1 Quart Whole Milk
1 Pint 1/2 & 1/2 Cream
Salt to Taste
1 Pound Frozen Clams
1/4 Cup Flour
1 Tablespoon Butter
2 6 1/2 ounce cans of clams

Directions:
Directions:
Dice Salt Pork and cook in skillet till it starts to brown ( medium heat ) .
Add diced onions, till they sweat.
Then add potatoes, celery and carrots and cook for 5 minutes.
Roll clams in flour before poaching.
Add scalded Whole milk and reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes
Add poached clams to mixture and simmer for 10 more minutes
Add poached clam sauce and the 1/2 & 1/2 to the mixture, along with the salt and pepper and butter.
Simmer for 20 minutes.
Do not let boil.
Turn off and let stand for 1 hour.
Serve and enjoy the Clam Chowder from Noah's Ark
