2 cups cooked chicken
1 lb. medium or large shrimp, peeled
1 lb. Italian sausage, sliced in 1 inch pieces
1 cup chopped onion
1-2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup olive oil
3 cups water
1 1/2 cups uncooked rice
16 oz. can stewed tomatoes
2 T. chicken bouillon cubes
2-3 t. paprika
1/2 t. black pepper
1/4 to 1/2 t. cayenne pepper
1/4 t. turmeric
10 oz. frozen green peas, thawed

In a large Dutch oven, cook sausage, onion, and garlic in oil until onion is tender. Stir in chicken, water, rice, tomatoes, bouillon, paprika, pepper and turmeric. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Stir in shrimp; cover and cook 5 minutes longer. Stir in peas; cover and cook until heated through, about 5-10 minutes. Serve warm and enjoy!
