1 medium head cabbage
1 tsp. salt
1 green pepper shredded
1 carrot shredded
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 cup vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Shred cabbage and add salt. Allow to stand for 1 hour. Squeeze out liquid. Add green pepper and carrot. In saucepan, combine vinegar, sugar, celery seed and mustard see. Boil 1 minute. Allow syrup to cool about 10 minutes. Pour over shredded mixture and mix. Will keep in refrigerator 2 weeks or several months in freezer.
