1 cup shortening or butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup light molasses
1 tablespoon vinegar

2 beaten eggs
6 cup flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Bring the first 4 ingredients to a boil. Cool, add eggs. Sift dry ingredients; add to egg mixture, mix well. Chill. Roll about 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick. Cut with cookie cutters and bake on a greased cookie sheet, 12 to 15 minutes at 375 degrees.
