8 boneless pork chops; 1/2” thick
Flour
2 Tablespoons butter
1/2 cup chopped green onions
2 garlic cloves; minced
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1 cup beer, more if necessary to cover
Salt and pepper
Minced parsley to garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Dust chops until covered with flour. Heat butter in large skillet until foaming. Add chops and brown well on both sides. Remove chops and set aside. Add onions and garlic to skillet and sauté 2 minutes. Add mushrooms and thyme and sauté an additional 3 minutes. Return chops to skillet, add beer and bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 hour. Transfer chops to serving platter and keep warm. Skim fat from sauce, season with salt and pepper. Spoon sauce over chops and sprinkle with parsley. Serve with spaetzle or regular noodles.
