Caramel French Toast Recipe

Ingredients:  
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup butter

Combine these three ingredients in saucepan. Cook over medium heat until mixture is melted and bubbly, stirring constantly. Pour mixture evenly on to bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan.

1 loaf French bread, sliced in 1" thick slices.
Arrange in single layer in 9 x 13 inch baking pan.

Combine:
1 1/2 cups milk
1 tablespoon flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs

Directions:

Pour this egg mixture over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden. Let stand 3 to 5 minutes before serving. Flip bread pieces over so caramel side is up when serving.
