Janet Hannaford

2 pounds hamburger, browned
1 onion, chopped and cooked

Mix the following together, add meat, and simmer for about 20 minutes:
1 1/2 teaspoons Lowery seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 to 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
26 oz jar spaghetti sauce
2 6 oz cans tomato paste
3 cans water
16 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
24 oz (large) container cottage cheese
1 packages lasagna noodles (10 pieces)
1/2 cup (3 oz packages) shredded Parmesan cheese

Layer in 9x 13 pan: 1. hamburger and sauce; 2. layer of uncooked noodles; 3. cottage cheese; 4. mozzarella cheese; 5. hamburger and sauce; 6. lasagna noodles; 7. cottage cheese; 8. mozzarella cheese; 9. hamburger and sauce; 10. grated Parmesan cheese.

I pour jar of spaghetti sauce over all, cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. Place pan on top of cookie sheet to catch drips while baking. Bake 1 1/4 hour at 350. Take foil off for last 15 min. Let set for about 10 min after removing from oven, before cutting.
