Sirloin tip roast (2 1/2 lbs = 8 sandwiches)
1 tsp each
Crushed red pepper flakes
Garlic powder
Dried basil
Dried oregano
Freshly ground pepper

Directions:
Coat roast evenly with all ingredients and place in a baking pan. Cook 15 minutes in 450º oven. Reduce oven temperature to 350º and cook 20 more minutes. Then add 1 cup cold water to the pan and continue cooking until meat thermometer register 130º for rare.

Cool meat, reserving pan juices. Slice beef as thinly as possible. Heat pan juices along with 1 cup beef broth in a saucepan. Add thinly sliced beef and cook briefly just to heat meat. Do not allow mixture to boil or meat will toughen.
