1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
2 tbsp. mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 onion, chopped
1/2 clove garlic, minced

Directions:

In a large bowl, combine the oil, sugar, vinegar, salt, pepper, mayonnaise, dry mustard, onion, and garlic. Mix together well and pour enough over salad to coat.
