3 whole cloves
dash nutmeg
1 orange, sliced or 1/2 c. orange juice

Directions:
Crockpot: Put all ingredients in a crock-pot and pour wine over. Heat, but do not boil. Serve in mugs with cinnamon sticks.

Stovetop: In a large pot, bring 1/2 c. water and spices to a slow boil for five minutes.
Remove from heat, add the wine, and then warm on low heat for 30 minutes. Make sure not to let the wine boil, as this will burn off the alcohol and destroy the flavours. After the wine is done heating, strain through fine cheesecloth (may also ladle or strain) and serve.
