1 pkg Devil's food cake mix
1/2 c. (scant) cooking oil
2 eggs
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Pecan halves, if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Blend cake mix, oil and eggs. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. If desired, top each cookie with pecan half. Bake @ 350 for 10-12 minutes or until cookie tests done with toothpick. Careful not to overbake.

Grandma Norene Pry's recipe which I have made for many Girl Scout mtgs & 4-H mtgs, bake sales and anytime I needed some cookies in a hurry. Easy to make. Caution: they tend to disappear quickly!
