1 ½ c. sugar
1 c. shortening- soft
2 eggs
2 ¾ c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix 1 ½ c. sugar, shortening and eggs. Stir in flour, cream of tartar, and baking soda. Chill dough. Roll dough into balls the size of walnuts. Combine remaining 2 Tbsp. sugar and 2 tsp. cinnamon. Roll cookies in this mixture. Bake 8-10 minutes. Cool completely on wire racks.
