Filling:
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk

2 egg whites
tsp. cream of tartar
c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a small bowl beat egg whites with Cream of Tartar until foamy or frothy, gradually add sugar, beat until stiff peaks form. Drop large dollops of meringue over filling and then spread it out by gently pressing the dollops toward each other. Be careful to seal the meringue completely to the edges of the pie shell to prevent the filling from becoming watery. Bake at 425 degrees in the middle of a preheat oven for about 3 minutes or until the meringue is lightly browned. Cool. Chill about 2 hours before serving.
