2 lbs. frozen hash brown, shredded. 1/2 c melted butter, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, 2 Tbsp dried, minced onions or 1/2 c chopped onion, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 pint sour cream, 2 c grated American or cheddar cheese, 1/4 c butter, 2 c corn flakes crushed.

thaw potatoes, mix first 8 ingredients and put in 9x13 greased casserole dish. Sprinkle crushed corn flakes over potatoes and drizzle with butter. Bake 45 minutes at 350
