1 cup butter
1 cup shortening
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
4 cups flour
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and shortening; add sugar and eggs and mix well. Add flour, cream of tartar, and baking soda. Roll dough in small balls and flatten with glass dipped in sugar. Bake 5-10 minutes at 350º until lightly browned.
