2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup white Karo syrup
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp. oil flavor

Boil to 300 stir until dissolved, add flavor and color. Pour, in ribbons, on cookie sheets covered generously with powdered sugar. Sift more powdered sugar over. Cut in small pieces. Store in airtight container.

Lemon = yellow
Orange = orange
Peppermint = white
Sassafras = brown
Anise = black
Cinnamon = red
Wintergreen = green
Spearmint = lime green
Clave = turquoise
