1 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 large vanilla beans
1 dash salt
2 tablespoons vodka

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 4 ingredients, cut vanilla beans in half and scrape beads into pan adding the bean halves also

Cook over low heat and simmer until sugar melts, stirring constantly

Remove from heat and stir in vodka

Store in air tight container, refrigerate when not using.
When using take out and let it reach room temperature
