3/4 C shortening
1 C sugar
1/4 C molasses
1 large egg
2 C flour
2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
Directions:
Melt shortening, cool. Add sugar, molasses and egg. Beat well. Add dry ingredients. Roll into balls then roll in sugar. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 12 minutes
