4 C elbow macaroni
1/2 C butter divided
3 Tbsp flour
3 C 2% milk, warmed
12 ounces velveeta, cubed
1 1/2 C shredded sharp cheddar cheese
3/4 Tbsp spicy brown mustard
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp white pepper
Approx 1/2 lb ham cubed
1 C crushed corn flakes (If you wish to have a crunchy topping)

Prepare pasta according to pkg directions until al dente; drain. In large saucepan, melt 6 Tbsp butter over medium heat. Stir in flour; cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Slowly whisk in warmed milk until smooth. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook and stir 1 minute. Reduce heat to low. Add cheeses, mustard salt and pepper. Continue stirring until cheese is melted. Add pasta to cheese sauce; stir to coat pasta. Stir in chopped ham. Transfer to a large casserole dish that has been sprayed with no stick cooking spray. Melt remaining 2 Tbsp of butter. Toss with corn flakes. Sprinkle over macaroni and cheese. Bake uncovered, in a preheated 350 degree oven 30-40 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is bubbly
