Cubed stale bread to fill baking dish
1/4 c butter
3 c milk
1 c water
3 eggs
2 c white sugar
pinch of salt
1 tbsp vanilla
cinnamon
raisins or walnuts opptional

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Butter large casserole dish. Set aside. Beat eggs in large pot. Add all other ingredients except vanilla and mix well with whisk. Heat till hot but not boiling. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Place cubed bread in buttered dish and sprinkle with raisins or nuts or what ever you would like to add. Pour liquid all over the bread. Sprinkle with white sugar and cinnamon. Bake for 1 hour or until set. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
