1 C flour
1/2 C butter
2 Tbsp water
1/2 C butter
1 C water
1 tsp almond flavor
1 C flour

Directions:
Directions:
Make pastry with first 3 ingredients. Pat dough with hands into 2 strips approx 15x 4 inches on cookie sheet. Bring water and butter to a boil, add almond flavoring. Remove from heat and add flour all at once-stir fast to keep from lumping. Add eggs 1 at a time. Beat until smooth between each egg. Divide in half and spread on pastry dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. When cool spread top with cream cheese icing and sprinkle with sliced almonds.

Cream Cheese frosting: One 3 oz pkg softened cream cheese, 1 Tbsp milk, 1 tsp vanilla, dash of salt, 2 1/2 C powdered sugar. Blend cheese, milk, vanilla and salt. Gradually add sugar, beating until smooth. If too thick stir in additional milk 1 tsp at a time.
