2 sticks butter, softened
2 cups sugar
3 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 eggs beaten
1 1/2 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add flour and baking powder. Mix until fine crumbs. Reserve 3/4 cup of the crumbs. To remaining crumb mixture, add beaten eggs and milk; beat well. Put batter in greased pan. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Sprinkle to taste with sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Bake at 375 for about 40 minutes.
