Crust:
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. flour

Filling:
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. milk

Topping:
1 3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
4 c. blackberries
6 Tbsp. cornstarch
12 oz. whipped topping

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Melt butter and mix well with flour. Press into a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes. Cool. Mix together ingredients for filling and pour over cooled crust. For the topping, mix together sugar, water, blackberries, and cornstarch in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook 3 minutes. Cool, pour on top of cream cheese layer and spread evenly. Top with whipped topping. Refrigerate.

I used 1 cup of sugar for the topping.
Alternate crust (Vanilla Wafer Crust):
2 2/3 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
4 Tbsp. sugar
10 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Combine all four ingredients, press onto bottom and up the sides of an ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes. Cool.
