2-cups flour
2 1/2-tsp.-baking powder
1/2 tsp.-baking soda
1/4 tsp-salt
1 T. sugar
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients in bowl, mixing well. Cut in butter till crumbly. Stir in buttermilk with fork until soft dough forms. Knead 10 times on a lightly floured surface and shape into ball. Do not overknead. Roll into 6-inch square. Cut out biscuits with a cutter. Place on baking sheet. Bake at 400º for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
