1 tbsp yeast
1 cup warm water
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 cup flour
Sauce:

2 or 3 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
2 tbsp parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp italian seasoning
1 tbsp minced onion
garlic powder, salt, pepper
1 T. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dough. - it will be sticky, it's okay. roll to ball and let it rest in the bowl for 5 minutes. Then roll out on a floured surface to shape of the pan you are using. 9 x 13 for deep dish, or cookie sheet for thinner.

Place on greased dish, curling edges for a crust. Let rest for 10 minutes, or while browning meat and toppings. Mix sauce and spread on dough. Add cheese and toppings. Bake at 425 for 10 - 12 minutes or until lightly browned on bottom.

Toppings: hamburger, sausage, pepperoni, onions, peppers, olives, mushrooms .... or just cheese please!

I made this about once a week when my kids were young!! I have a friend that made this dough and brushed it with olive oil, italian seasoning and parmesan cheese. Then used a jar of white sauce and fresh tomatoes & basil sprigs. He said it was delicious!
