Directions:
In large bowl thoroughly mix 4 c flour, sugar, dried milk, and dry yeast. Add softened butter/margarine and gradually add very warm water to dry ingredients. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed of electric mixer. Add 11/2 c flour. Beat at high speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl. Stir in enough additional flour to make a stiff dough. Turn onto floured board and knead until smooth and elastic (15 min). Cover and let rest 15 min. Divide dough into 4 pieces. Roll each round into 12X8 inch rectangle. Begin at 8 inch end and roll up as a jelly roll. Pinch seams to seal. With seam side down, fold heals (ends) underneath. Place in greased 81/2 X 41/2 X 21/2 inch bread pan. Cover and let rise until doubled in size (about 11/2 hour). Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
