1 1/2 cups flour
pinch of salt
4 egg yolks
10 - 11 tbsp. cream

Directions:
Directions:
Place egg yolks into the flour and salt. Add cream little at a time - knead until the dough is well mixed. Cover and rest dough for 1/2 hour. Roll the dough out on a large cutting board. Make vertical slices about 1 inch wide by 5 inches long. Make a slit in the middle of each piece and bring one end thru the slit to make a twist. Heat oil medium to hot, drop a twists at a time into the hot oil. Use a slotted spoon to turn after they become light brown. Remove twists onto paper towels. When almost cool, sprinkle with powder sugar.
