2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp ginger
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the shortening and sugar. Add egg and molasses. Mix. Add spices, then flour, mix together. Roll dough into balls. Roll balls in sugar. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
