3 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups shortening
3 eggs
2 cups milk
9 cups flour, more or less
9 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
3 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs; add baking powder and salt. Mix well. Add vanilla. Add milk and flour alternately; do not make the dough too stiff. Roll out thick, 1/8 to 1/4", and cut with desired shaped cookie cutters. Bake at 350 degrees. Do not let them get brown and they will stay soft.

These make a lot, but are great when you have lots of kids as an activity and frosting party!!
