1 lb. butter
2 cups brown sugar
3 eggs
6 cups flour
1-1/2 tsp. soda
1-1/2 cups white sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1-1/2 tsp. salt
4 cups chocolate chips, I like 1/2 milk choc. and 1/2 semi-sweet
nuts (if desired)

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter and sugars for 10 minutes, then add vanilla and eggs. Beat for 3 more minutes. Add flour, soda, and salt and beat for 3 more minutes. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes.
