1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup margarine or butter, softened
1/4 cup shortening
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg
1 1/2 cup quick cooking oats
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup raisins or nuts, if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375 degrees. mix all ingredients except oats, flour and raisins. sift dry ingredients
together and add. Drop by teaspoons full on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake about 10 min.
