1 16-oz. pkg. chopped, fresh collards
water
2 T. sea salt
2 T. olive oil
1 T. liquid smoke
1-2 T. apple cider vinegar (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse greens thoroughly. Soak in cold water and sea salt for 15-20 minutes, then drain. Place greens in a large pot. Add about one inch of water in pot, cover, bring to boil and cook on medium-low for one hour. Add olive oil and liquid smoke, continue to cook for another 30 minutes to an hour. If desired, add one to two tablespoons of vinegar a few minutes before greens are done.
