1 c. chopped celery 1c. chopped onion 1 stick butter 1 and 1/2 bags of Pepperidge Farm Dressing Mix 1 can of chicken broth

Directions:
Directions:
Microwave celery and onion with a little water until slightly soft .Saute in butter for two minutes. Add chicken broth.. Pour over dressing mix and toss lightly. Put into a butter-greased baking pan ( not a cookie sheet) and bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Do not pack this mixture: spoon it in lightly. You can also make patties, cutting cooking time to 30 minutes.

Some people also put a beaten egg in the broth mix to hold the dressing together more. Try both ways to see what you like best .Chopped oysters are added by some, but I find this not as well liked by the whole table.
