1 3 pound beef chuck pot roast
2 tablespoons margarine or butter
2 onions sliced into rings
2 garlic cloves
3/4 cup bottled barbecue sauce of your choice
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon chili powder
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Trim fat from meat.Sprinkle with salt and pepper. In Dutch oven brown meat on all sides with butter or margarine. Remove meat. Add onions and garlic. Cook till tender.Stir in barbecue sauce, dry mustard, chili powder, and 1/2 cup water. Add meat. Bring to boiling then reduce heat.Cover and simmer for 2 hours. Remove meat and boil pan juices 5 minutes uncovered to desired consistency.
