2 1/2 C or 1 lb. dried pinto beans, 1 med. onion diced, 1 clove garlic minced, 1/2 C hot bacon drippings or melted butter, salt.

Directions:
Directions:
follow cooking directions on bag of beans with all the ingredients then when they are done, smash and serve with cheese on top and maybe sour cream.
