3 tsp baking powder,
1/2 tsp salt,
1/3 cup shortening,
1 cup milk

Measure flour, b powder, salt, stir to blend. Blend in shortening with a pastry blender. Make a hollow in centre, add milk stirring lightly with fork. Mix only till a soft dough is formed. Turn onto a lightly floured board and knead gently for 10 sec. Roll out to 1/4" thick. Cut our with biscuit cutter. Place on an ungreased baking sheet 1" apart. Do not re-roll. Use left over to make cinnamon rolls ( use b sugar, cinnamon, raising, nuts. Roll our like a jelly roll)
