Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb chicken cooked (I use crock pot chicken - removed from bone see Shauna's recipe)
1/4 cup drippings from crock pot chicken
2 cups chicken broth
2 tbsp. cornstarch
Your favorite waffles

Directions:
Directions:
Heat chicken drippings until warmed through.Slowly, add warmed chicken broth to cornstarch, whisking to remove any lumps. Once smooth, add to chicken drippings, and stir well. Continue stirring until gravy is heated through and thickened.

I always eyeball this -

If too thin, mix additional cornstarch and water in separate bowl (should be paste consistency and should prevent lumps) and add mixture to gravy. If too thick, add water or milk and stir until desired consistency is achieved.

Once gravy is of desired consistency, add chicken to gravy, heat through, and pour over your favorite waffles. Also great with mashed potatoes.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I use the Bisquick waffles recipe. I also add chicken bouillon granules (to taste) to gravy if more flavor is needed. Be careful, though, as the bouillon granules are salty, and can easily overpower the gravy if too much is used.
