1 cup butter
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 cup chopped walnuts
2 tsp vanilla
1 10oz jar Apricot Preserves

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla very well
Stir in flour and then stir in nuts
Spread 1/2 of the batter on the bottom of a buttered 9x9 baking pan
Spread Apricot Preserves over the batter
Spoon remaining batter over the preserves and spread out using back of spoon
Bake at 325 for 50 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool and cut into 1" squares. (Double the recipe and use 10x14 pan
