8 Bacon Slices
1/2 C. Celery (diced)
1/2 C. Onion (diced)
1 Tomato (medium,diced)
Water
3 C. Navy Beans (Northern)
2 C. Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Soak beans overnight in water. Put in fresh water next day and cook for several hours. While beans are cooking, fry bacon til brown. Set aside. Saute onion and celery in bacon drippings. When beans are almost done, add crumpled bacon, sauteed items and tomatoes. Simmer 1 hour. Add Milk and heat to scalding.
Serve hot.
