2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 bunch medium-size asparagus (about 1 pound)
10 oz. mushrooms, halved
10 oz. frozen corn kernels, unthawed
coarse salt & freshly ground pepper
3/4 lb. steak, sliced into 2-inch long strips
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water

Directions:

Trim and cut asparagus into 1 1/2 inch pieces on the diagonal.

In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon oil. Add asparagus, mushrooms and corn; season with salt and pepper. Cook until asparagus are lightly browned and tender.

Toss together steak, cornstarch and salt until coated. Add remaining tablespoon oil to skillet. Add steak and cook without stirring, until browned on one side. Add asparagus mixture and water; bring to boil. Cook until sauce is thickened.
