11/2 cup of oil
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
3 cups plain flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
2 teaspoon of vanilla flavoring
3 cups of chopped apples
1 cup of chopped nuts
1 cup raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Combine oil, sugar, eggs and then dry ingredients. The mixture will be a heavy dough. Pour into a greased tube pan, bake for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Leave in the pan unto cool.

Icing:
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 sticks of margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoons vanilla flavoring
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Mix and boil for 2 minutes. Pour over the cake in the pan.
