1 lb. baby carrots
1 can (8 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained
1 (3 lbs.) beef rump roast or chuck roast
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. canola oil
1 jar (12 oz.) beef gravy
1 can (14.5 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup water
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix

In slow cooker, place carrots and mushrooms. Sprinkle roast with garlic powder, salt and pepper.
Place in slow cooker.

In bowl, mix oil, gravy, soup, water; pour over roast. Sprinkle roast with dry onion soup mix.

Optional: Add 3 lg. potatoes cut in 6ths half way through baking time.

Cook in slow cooker on Low heat for 7 hours.
